So… this is the first blog I’ve ever written – for myself. Not for a client. Not for someone else’s SEO strategy. Just me.
Minus the ‘imposter syndrome’ part, it feels really great.
After nearly two decades in marketing, working with businesses, growing teams, solving chaos with strategy, I decided to launch something of my own: Annie Briening Consulting.
Over the past few years, I’ve worked with all kinds of clients and I’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and what gets in the way. And somewhere along the way, I realized: I wanted to build something that felt fully mine. Something that allowed me to work closely with business owners to bring structure, creativity and clarity to their marketing.
2025 happens to be the Year of the Snake – symbolizing transformation, intuition and shedding what no longer fits.
Fitting, right?
So, this next chapter of mine will be a reflection of that transformation. It’s thoughtful, intentional and deeply rooted in what I actually love doing:
helping businesses and learning from them simultaneously
building momentum and watching results
and creating marketing that feels good and works hard
I’ll be sharing more soon – insights, lessons, things I’m loving (and maybe a fumble or two along the way). Plus, how the clients I work with are shaping – and fitting into – this new chapter and way of working.
But for now, I just wanted to say: I’m here. I’m excited. And ready for what’s next.
